The Perfect 10 Miler and 10K is scheduled for Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 9:00 am at Mt. Brilliant Farm in northern Fayette County. As of December 23, we are offering registration for both live and virtual events. Please check this website for updates and a possible switch to a fully virtual event. Since this race is a fundraiser, we will make every effort to hold a live event and allow runners to experience the beauty of Mt. Brilliant Farm while still making it beneficial for Surgery on Sunday. Thank you for your patience.
All proceeds from this 6th annual race will benefit Surgery on Sunday, Inc., a local nonprofit that provides outpatient surgeries free of charge to income-eligible, uninsured or under-insured individuals who do not qualify for federal or state assistance. To learn more about this unique program, please visit their website at www.surgeryonsunday.org
This race is great preparation for many area half and full marathons like Run The Bluegrass, Kentucky Derby Festival, Flying Pig, and Horse Capital and the run will be entirely on paved surfaces through picturesque and historic Mt. Brilliant Farm. All registrants of live and virtual events will receive a commemorative dri-fit race shirt. We regret that we are unable to provide finishers medals for any events this year.
Chip timing is provided. Overall and age group awards will be presented for the 10 Miler. Overall awards only will be presented for the 10K. Post race food and drink is included for all runners. Water will be served at 2 hydration stations along the courses. Strollers welcome but please no animals. Walkers are welcome for the 10K. Please adhere to the pace limit of 15 min/mile for the 10 Miler.
